The Mini Jura Backpack

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased the Mini Jura Backpack at the Islander store in Edinburgh in May 2025. I enjoyed using it every day and received quite a lot of compliments on it. I even bought several other matching items from Islander.com. I didn't carry much in the backpack so it was rather light to wear. By January 2026, I noticed the shoulder straps were tearing where they attach to the purse. I haven't used it since then, using it for only 8 months. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed that I spent so much money for a backpack whose straps tore so quickly. I don't know how I could have avoided this problem.

UPDATED REVIEW: I wanted to provide an update of how Islander handled the issues with my broken backpack. They made contact with me within 24 hours of my posting my review. After several cordial emails back and forth, they replaced my backpack. My emails were always quickly answered. I love my new backpack as much as my broken one that was replaced. Islander makes all kinds of great items, and I would never hesitate to purchase from them in the future. They definately stand behind their products!
