How long will delivery in the UK take?

We aim to dispatch all UK orders within one working day of the order being placed. Our UK orders are sent using Royal Mails Tracked 48 Hour Service and should take two working days to arrive.

How long will International delivery take?

We aim to dispatch all international orders within 1 working day of the order being placed. Orders to Europe can take 2-3 weeks to arrive and orders to ROW can take around 4-5 weeks.

Any delays that occur once the courier has your order are outwith our control but if there has been a significant delay, at least 10 days after your estimated arrival time, please get in touch.

Where do you ship from?

Our warehouse is located just outside of Edinburgh - this is not open to the public.

Can I see your products in-store?

Yes! We have three stores in the heart of Edinburgh - our Islander Flagship Store on Victoria Street and our Islander Workshops on Candlemaker Row and Raeburn Place, where our Handbag Workshop takes place. We also have an Islander Workshop and store in St Andrews.

What is your UK return policy? 

We offer free UK returns for exchanges or refunds up to 14 days from the date you receive the item. Items must be unused and in the original packaging. For items bought in-store we will need proof of purchase so please keep hold of your receipt.

For items purchased online, you will receive an invoice inside your order which will include a free returns label and returns form, please fill in the form and post the items back to us via your local Post Office. There is no need to apply for a return online or through email.

What is your international returns policy?

If you would like to return your item, please email us directly at and we will provide you with further information and the returns address. Items must be unused and in the original packaging. For items bought in-store we will need proof of purchase so please keep hold of your receipt.

The item I want is out of stock! How will I know when it's back in stock?

It's always disappointing when your favourite product is out of stock! We have regular re-stocks but cannot advise when specific products will come back into stock. The easiest way to find out is to follow us on social media and sign up to our newsletters on the home page of our website.

My item is faulty or damaged, what do I do?

If you have recently received a faulty or damaged product, please get in contact with us and we will resolve this for you as soon as possible. If your item develops a fault after 1 year of purchase, please get in contact and we may be able to provide a solution.
