Workshop FAQs
Everything you need to feel ready for your Islander workshop.
Do I need any experience?
No. Our workshop team will guide you through every step and all specialist tools are provided.
How long does the workshop take?
The hands-on session lasts around 60 minutes. Please arrive a little early so you have time to browse the tweeds and settle in.
Can I choose my own design?
Yes. You will choose the bag shape, Harris Tweed® cloth, and decorative straps from the selection available on the day.
Can I choose a different bag on the day?
Subject to availability, your instructor can help you choose a different size or style when you arrive. Book the Mini Satchel if you are unsure which place to reserve.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. The minimum age for workshop participants is 12 years old for health and safety reasons.
What is the cancellation policy?
We require at least 48 hours’ notice before your session. Please contact service@islanderuk.com; refunds cannot be issued outside the notice period.
