Customize your own

In this hands-on, 60-minute session, you'll have the chance to personalise your own bag! Choose the base colour of your bag, select your favourite Harris Tweed® cloth lid, and add decorative straps to complete your design.

Attention to Detail

Once you've selected your components, you'll be guided through the construction process using a set of tools provided, ensuring a fun and rewarding experience whilst meeting new people and learning about Harris Tweed®

FAQ

Age Requirement: Minimum age to attend the workshop is 12 years old. This is non-negotiable due to health and safety
Cancellation: If you need cancellation cancel your booking, we require 48 hours notice prior to your session, please let us know at service@islanderuk.com. If you are outside of this notice period, we cannot issue a refund.
Variety We do offer an array of different tweeds but we cannot promise any specific tartans/colours will be available on the day as we rotate colours often.

Terrific experience with my daughter

Staff was terrific. Selection of products was very good. Don’t think anyone in our group had trouble finding anything. It was fairly easy to assemble with a little help from staff and we left with a truly unique souvenir!

A very creative workshop that you can make uniquely yours.

Worth every moment to do their fun workshop. The experience was about an hour and allowed plenty of time to create your unique bag from so many options. Connor and Chris were funny and attentive. Try the coconut hot chocolate while you create!

The Islander UK Edinburgh Workshop was an absolute blast!

The experience was so unique and I had a great time assembling my own tweed purse. I shared the experience with my sister-in-law, and while it was great to have her there, I felt comfortable enough to have gone by myself.

The ladies leading the workshop were hilarious and made the whole experience so much fun. They were incredibly engaging and made everyone feel comfortable. They were also super helpful and made sure we had all the help we needed.

I would highly recommend this workshop. I am so happy with the purse I made and would love to repeat the experience.
